Abraham Kellogg

Abraham Wade Kellogg, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 3rd, 2024, at the age of 50. Known for his creativity, kindness, humor, and dedication to his family, Abraham’s soft spirit touched the lives of more than he realized. His physical departure from this world leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Abraham was found by his wife Sierra and her mother Shawn, on Saturday afternoon after he had taken his own life using a firearm. While Abraham has recently sought mental health counseling and resources, he never fully expressed his pain to those around him. His death is sudden, shocking, and devastating. He fought so hard for so long but in the end he was never transparent enough for those around him to get him the help he truly needed.

Abraham was born on December 14th 1973 to Gerald and Joyce Kellogg in Spokane Washington. He graduated from Roger’s Highschool and then attended Whitworth College where he graduated with his bachelors in business management. After graduation he had multiple successful careers in project management followed by successful entrepreneurial businesses. His most notable career accomplishments being in the cannabis industry where he pioneered some of the largest cannabis farms in the state of Washington.

In his free time Abraham had many hobbies but always had a passion for building and constructing projects. He was an avid gardener with a green thumb. In recent years he had been working towards turning their backyard into a “secret garden”. Throughout his life he always enjoyed cars and motorcycles, including RC cars and hot wheels. He would mountain bike on trails and even when he became a stay at home dad, he would take frequent bike rides with his sons.

He had a passion for appreciating and collecting art. Some would say that his home was more of an art display and he was a curator of sorts. This love for art also manifested in his life as creativity, which you can see clearly displayed in both his interior and landscape design at his family home.

Abraham is survived by his six children and wife. He had three sons with his ex-wife Lisa Durant named Blake, Nick, and Rylan. Abraham also had two daughters and one son with his current wife Sierra named Sophia, Clarence, and Nina Jane. He is also survived by his brother Alan, sister Jennifier, and mother Joyce.

The family has decided not to do a public gathering but rather an intimate celebration of life at his home among his gardens.

If you would like to support Sierra as she navigates life as a single mom there is a GoFundMe set up which will raise money used to raise their 3 young children. To support this fundraiser you can go to gofund.me/90f871bf
