Annette Cora Howland Obituary Age 87 Annette was born May 21, 1931 in Seattle to Arch and Gwendolyn Krom. She graduated from North Central High School and attended Whitworth College. Annette worked for several years in the school lunch program for Spokane School District #81. In June of 1953 she married the love of her life James. Annette loved to sew and bake and there was always something baking in her kitchen. She also loved her gardens not only for the flowers and vegetable but for the birds and squirrels alike. She delighted in spoiling her grandchildren. Annette enjoyed volunteering and for several years she would help plant flowers each spring at Shriner?s Hospital, also worked at NW Christian Thrift Store and The Peaceful Valley Community Center. She was preceded in death by her husband James, parent and daughter K?Anne. She is survived by son Chuck (Annette) of Spokane, granddaughter Tiffany of Spokane, grandson Tyler (Anna) of Puyallup, and great-grandson Keilan of Puyallup. Per her request, no public services will be held. A time to remember will be held at a later time. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane PO Box 2215 Spokane, WA 99210-2215.
