Barbara J Mihalchean Obituary Barbara J. Mihalchean, 79 passed away February 8th 2021 She was outgoing, with creative skills that she shared with many people. She loved her days with beading friends where products were carefully designed. They shared many topics in their discussion and settled most of them. Her beading friends have said of her, ?she was courageous, strong, resilient and kept a positive attitude all through her years of health challenges. She was smart, funny, and outspoken. She was generous to her beading friends and always so encouraging.? Barbara did meticulous and beautiful beadwork. This characteristic was also evident in how she managed her yard, home and most details of her life. She lived in the same home for over 50 years. Her yard was beautifully managed with a variety of color of all the flowers and special plantings. She moved into royal Park Retirement Center in early2020. She was known by them as feisty, thoughtful and extremely creative. She was a doer and encouraged many others at Royal Park during the difficult year of 2020. Her Growth group from Faith Bible Church loved her and helped her grow in her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. She deeply appreciated their devoted care for her, and she often stated the challenge of missing out on meeting in person this past year. Barbara was born in Spokane, WA. She survived by her brother Robert C. Sampson, daughter Deborah R. Kelly, and son Scott A. Mihalchean (Susan). Preceding her death were her parents, Clarence T. and Marior J (Voight) Sampson, her sister Margorie E Clarence (Robert) Barbara attended business school, worked at Spokane Public Library and various departments at Spokane County Courthouse for 25 years. A memorial service will be held on March 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Bible Church, 600 West Cora Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Bible Church Care Fund. Heritage Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
