Dana Joseph Campana Obituary Dana Joseph Campana passed away in Spokane, WA on April 27, 2023 after a brief illness; he was 73. Dana grew up in Lafayette, CA and spent many years working at his familys business, Campana Music. During the early 1970s, he answered the call and joined the United States Navy, serving as an aircraft mechanic in California. At the conclusion of his service, he moved to Spokane to continue his education and start a family. He tried his hand at many ventures which took him back and forth between Washington and California. Upon retiring, Dana returned to Spokane to enjoy time with his extended family. Dana will always be remembered by his family and friends for his generous spirit, a trait he attributed fondly to his mother, as well as his passion for cars, the ocean, music, and painting. Over the years, he bonded with his sons over vehicles and loved spending his free time on car restoration. He often wished he had studied marine biology, spending his younger days surfing in California, traveling to family reunions on the sunny shores of Oahu, and later making road trips to the Oregon coast. Most recently, he resided at Touchmark in Spokane, where he regularly attended concerts and shared his painting skills. Throughout his life, he demonstrated an amazing ability to connect with people, from family members to casual acquaintances, who quickly became close friends. Dana was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Fannie Campana, as well as his sister Mari Kolb. He is survived by his two sons, Justin and Dustin Campana and their families, his brother-in-law, Chuck Kolb, longtime friend, John Kreis, as well as countless friends across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. In accordance with Danas wishes, there will be no formal service. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Dana, please visit our Tree Stor
