David D. Mook

David D. Mook Obituary David D. Mook was brought into this world on March 31st, 1965 in Honolulu, Hawaii by his mother, Patricia Ann Turvey and his father, Donald George Mook Sr. He was 1 of 6 children with 1 brother, 2 sisters, and 2 step-sisters. He was a loving father to his daughter, Loretta and a doting grandpa to his two granddaughters. In 1989, David joined the cleanup forces at Vanalco; an aluminum smelting and fabrication facility; as an operator cleaning the potliner from the smelting pots for 4 years. 1995 led to David's entrepreneurial work with his own company, D+D Construction. Ultimately David found his successful career as a car salesman for over 20+ years with Wendle Ford & Gus Johnson. He excelled in many career aspect because of his hard work and charismatic people skills. Dave was always well liked by his peers and carried many of the friendships he created throughout his life. Dave enjoyed spending days out on his boat fishing and playing rounds of golf out on the green with his family and friends. You'd often find him in the kitchen on holidays and family functions, as cooking was a passion of his. He was never short on a smile or a joke and knew how to keep those around him smiling. A family man, he was always willing to go to any length to be there for his loved ones. David put forth an admirable fight against the cancer but the Lord called him home to rest on May 15th, 2022. He was not ready for a goodbye and although his family was not ready for him to go, his fight is now over and he is without pain. David's legacy lives on in his daughter Loretta Stewart (Greg); his parents Donald Mook (Trish) and Patricia Turvey; his siblings Don Mook Jr. (Joanne), Cindi Smith (Sid), & Jacqui Mook, Jessica Honore (Dale), & Jennifer Jolly; His 2 granddaughters Makayla & Nebula Stewart; & his many nieces & nephews.
