Dolores Pauline (Belgarde) Bell Obituary Dolores Bell, of Spokane (formerly of Belcourt, ND, and East Helena, MT) passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022, in Spokane, Washington. She was born on December 6, 1932, in Belcourt, North Dakota. She was the third eldest of ten children raised on their family farm by Martin and Elizabeth (Martin) Belgarde. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dolores attended high school at St. John High School where she graduated in 1951. In 1952, she married Lloyd Bell and they moved to California. In 1962, they moved to East Helena, MT where they raised their three children, Bob, Julie, and Laurie. In 1991, they moved to Spokane, WA to be closer to their first grandchild and two daughters. Born during the great depression, Dolores learned to work hard at an early age. Her Catholic faith was very strong, and she served on the parish council for St. Cyril & Methodius Church as well as many boards and groups. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and enjoyed going to all their school, dance, and sporting events. Dolores is survived by her three children and their spouses, Bob Bell, and his wife Suzanne of Sherwood, OR, Julie (Bell) Greeley and her husband Chris of Spokane, WA, and Laurie (Bell) Wearmouth and her husband Pat of Spokane, WA. She has five grandchildren (Brittlyn, Aaron, Bridger, Elizabeth and Lloyd) and two great-grandchildren (Brently and Brady) who were her greatest joy and pride. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Bell, her parents Elizabeth, and Martin Belgarde, and four brothers Donald (Ducksie), Gerald (Jerry), Larry, and Verlin Belgarde. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church, Spokane, Washington on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 am with a celebration of life following at Northern Quest Resort & Casino.
