December 02, 1962 - November 25, 2021

Donald Mathew Videtich Obituary On November 25, 2021 Donald Matthew Videtich, devoted son, faithful husband, loving father, and adoring Poppa, passed into eternity while surrounded by his loving wife and children. Don was born in Burlingame, CA to Joseph and Barbara Videtich on December 2, 1962. After growing up in the Bay Area he enlisted in the United States Navy where he became a skilled aircraft mechanic and passionate patriot. He faithfully served our country for 9 years and was honorably discharged as a First Class Petty Officer. While stationed in Florida he met his wife of 38 years, Barbara Redmond. They married July 6, 1983 shortly before heading to the Pacific Northwest where they began to raise their family. Upon leaving the Navy he became employed with American Airlines. During his over 20 years of service with the airline, he split his time fixing planes and fighting for the rights of the working man. Don had always dreamed of coming back to the Pacific Northwest. This dream was realized in February of 2018 when he and his wife moved to the mountains of eastern Washington. His mission to create a mountain escape for his kids and grandkids has been heartily accomplished and will be enjoyed for generations to come. He was preceded in death by two of his brothers- Joseph Michael Videtich and Rick Allen Videtich. He is survived by his parents Joseph and Barbara Videtich, older brother Kevin Lawrence Videtich and wife Julie, his wife Barbara Videtich, his children Benjamin Joseph Videtich and wife Kaisha, Nicholas Matthew Videtich and wife Kelley, Molly Elizabeth Daniel and husband Jonathan, and Michael James Videtich. The pride and joy of his life, 10 grandkids- Abigail Elizabeth, Austin Matthew, Nicholas Maximus, Piper Grace, Joseph Matthew, Phelan Elizabeth, Clara Rose, Owen Timothy, Rowan Jean, and Baby Daniel. Don's love for family and country was surpassed only by the love he has for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who he diligently served for over 30 years and in whose presence he now remains.
