Frank K. Tenney Obituary (Age 78) Frank was born in Snowflake, AZ on May 16, 1932. He passed away peacefully November 4, 2010 in Spokane, WA. Frank spent the first seven years of his life in Queen Creek, AZ before his family moved to North Idaho in 1939. That summer they camped on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille before settling in Sagle, ID. In 1946 the family moved to Bonners Ferry, ID where he attended school graduating from Bonner Ferry High School in 1951. He enlisted in the reserves and following graduation entered the US Navy, (Sea Bees), serving in Corpus Christi, TX from 1951-54. Frank married Marjorie Bingham in 1958. They settled in Spokane, WA to raise their three children. Frank was a heavy equipment operator and diesel mechanic until 1994 when he retired. He was Mason and a Shriner. His hobbies included, collecting cars, cooking and making jerky, and having a beer with a friend. Frank's pride and joy was his family and grandchildren. He was generous and kind, a great friend to many, lending a hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Frank is survived by his children, Candice Payne (Patrick) of Chattaroy, WA, James Tenney (Aree) of Spokane Valley, WA, and Rob Tenney of Spokane, WA; his grandchildren, Shannon Tenney of Bellevue, WA, Ryan Payne (Kimberly) of Pullman, WA and Dustin Payne of Spokane, WA, Marjorie Tenney of Spokane, WA; his sisters Teddy Cottrell of Mesa, WA, Louise Cochran (John)of St. Regis, MT and Florence Tenney of Spirit Lake, ID; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Wayne Tenney, Rex Tenney and Chet Tenney. Visitation will be Wednesday & Thursday 8-5PM and Funeral Service
