Gary Dean Peters Obituary Gary Dean Peters passed away October 15, 2019 in Spokane, WA. He was born January 3, 1948 in Ephrata, WA and spent his childhood between Moses Lake and Marshall. Gary grew up with a large family; he was one of 15 children. He worked at a chicken ranch during high school. Gary graduated from Cheney High School in 1966 and then joined the Army in 1969. He served two years in the Army and fought in Vietnam. He was in the 173 Assault Helicopter Battalion and was the crew chief in charge of the helicopters. After getting out of the Army, Gary went to work for Garco Steel Building Systems in 1972. He was a brake press operator and worked there until 2005 when he retired due to his M.S. He and his wife, Marilynn, were married for 48 years. Gary is survived by his wife, Marilynn; two daughters; seven grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 sons-in-law; 12 siblings and countless other family members.
