Gina C. Cummings-Noble

February 16, 1953 - May 06, 2011

Gina C. Cummings-Noble Obituary (Age 58) Our beloved Gina went home with the angels May 6, 2011 at Sacred Heart Medical Center following a 14-month struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and requested that we not be sad. Gina was born at Sacred Heart Hospital February 16, 1953 to John and Madeline White. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Lance Noble; mother Madeline White; son Jeffrey Cummings (Ivy); daughter Lisa Cummings, grandson John Cummings; sisters Gayle Livengood (Denny), Jan Dunne (John), Jeri Hedrick (Gavin); Lance's son and daughter Steven and Rachel; grandsons Eddison and Kayden whom she viewed as her own; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Gina worked for Washington Water Power for many years, then moved on to owning and operating her own contracting business, Final Clean until ill health intervened. She was a member of the Spokane Home Builders Association and the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC). Gina was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was an avid reader, enjoyed classical music as well as rock, writing and oil painting. She cherished the time she had with her 2 1/2 year old grandson Johnny and was in her glory spending time at the river, snowmobiling in the winter, swimming, sunning, rafting and family gatherings in the summer. Gina was an active supporter and generously donated to the United Way. She was a compassionate, giving person. Her giving lives on by the donation of her corneas so that someone else has the gifts of sight. Donations in her memory to continue her giving may be made to United Way, Union Gospel Mission or the American Lung Association for cancer research. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, May 13, 2011 at Heritage Chapel.
