Hazel Wolfrum Obituary In Loving Memory of Hazel Wolfrum Hazel Wolfrum, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 94. She was born on September 8, 1929 in Davenport, Washington and she is survived by her son Brad Wolfrum, daughter Vickie Johnson (Jim Johnson), Grandson Mickey Hough (Kari Hough), Granddaughter Sumer Johnson, three great-grandchildren, Aaron Hough and Kendall Lucas (JD Lucas). Her journey through life touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Hazel was a beacon of warmth and kindness. Her life was a testament to resilience, and her unwavering love for her family and friends was evident in all that she did. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Carl, for over six decades, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Hazel's passion for gardening was celebrated by all as her green thumb transformed her yards into a vibrant oasis of beauty. She had a deep appreciation for nature and spent countless hours tending to her flowers, nurturing them into full bloom. Her garden was not just a reflection of her love for plants but also a symbol of her nurturing spirit. She also was an amazing cook and baked the most legendary rhubarb pie, ever! Her home was a gathering place for family celebrations, and her holiday feasts were extraordinary. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she passed down to her children and grandchildren. Hazel's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Patty Stark, Dale Delgado and Debbie Wilbur for taking the absolute best care of Hazel over the past 8-years, allowing her to remain happy and comfortable in her home during the last chapter of her life. Hazel will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all those who had the honor of knowing her. As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, let us remember the lessons of love, kindness, and resilience she shared with us all. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty she cultivated in life. A memorial service to celebrate Hazel's life will be held on Oct 6th at Heritage Funeral Home at 12pm.
