James Taylor Pritchard Obituary Mr. James Taylor Pritchard, loving Husband of 42 years, Father, and Papa, passed away Saturday, May 6th, surrounded by close family at his side after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Since being diagnosed in March 2020, he continued to drive professionally coast-to-coast while undergoing chemotherapy to provide for his extended family. He truly was a Beacon of strength for many to see, admire, and follow with his unselfish, caring, and loving personality, always putting everyone else before himself. He was a shining example of the old saying, actions speak louder than words. For that and many more reasons, he will be sorely missed and thought of on a continual basis. He enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, following cutting-edge technology, snow-skiiing the backside of Schweitzer, going bowling, jet-skiing, and most of all spending quality time with his family. To mention a few significant accomplishments: Co-Founder of Apollo Spas, Founder of SuJa Incorporated & Veradale Builders, multiple bowling personal bests (including a 299/300 score), and several home improvement projects over the years. Additionally, he was fortunate enough to take multiple overseas cruises, travel to Italy/Greece, and enjoy several state-side trips with his family while blessing us with his presence & mortal time on Earth. James is preceded in death by his Daughter Kristie, Grandma Alice, and Mother Joandre. He is survived by multiple family members, including his Wife - Susan, Stepdaughter - Tammy, Son Johnny, several Grandchildren from Washington to the Great state of Texas, and many others. A funeral service for James will be held at Spokane Baptist Church, 4506 N Harvard Rd, Otis Orchards, WA 99027 on Friday May 19th at 11 AM followed by a graveside service at Riverside Memorial Park at 2:30 PM. In closing, as he would wish light a cigar, grab a cold one, and sit back & enjoy, but remember as stated on his headstone, Smile, Im right behind You Foo Foo Foo. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of James, please visit our Tree Store.
