Janelle L Williams - Young Obituary Janelle Williams Young Born 3-8-1942 Died 5-8-2023 Janelle was born to Ernest and Marie Radtke in Hastings Nebraska in 1942. The family moved to Sacramento when Janelle was a child. She graduated from high school in Sacramento and attended Pacific Lutheran University. After meeting Dennis Quast as a bridesmaid in Dennis� brother�s wedding to her friend, Nadine Pfieff, Dennis and Janelle married in November 1962. They bought a cattle ranch in Huntington Oregon in 1969, and were successful ranchers for 30 years before Dennis died in 1996. They have three surviving children: Linda Marie Quast, Timothy John Quast and Heidi Ann Quast; 7 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. After Dennis died in 1996, Janelle remarried Ed Williams of Sunnyside, Washington. Ed died in 2009, and Janelle remarried Richard Young of Spokane Washington, and he died in 2015. Widowed three times, Janelle was adept at caregiving but told her friends and family to �Lock me in a closet if I think of marrying again!� The remainder of her years were spent in Spokane Valley, Washington where she enjoyed time with friends and family, her church and the Tuesday Yahtzee gang, which she went to every Tuesday, including the Tuesday before she died. She was a great student of history, an avid reader and traveler, and loved walking and the outdoors. She will be laid to rest in the Verbena section of the Riverside Cemetery in Spokane Washington.
