Jeannie M. Poffenroth Obituary (Age 63) Went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ August 28, 2010. She was born in Spokane on November 23, 1946 to Eugene and Elsie (Smith) Thiemens. She worked at Fred Meyer for 25 years as a nutrition manager. Jeannie was a hard working and loyal individual who truly enjoyed interacting with her fellow employees and customers. She was a caring person who touched many lives and always had a kind and thoughtful word for everyone she met. Her joys and passions included being outdoors, boating, shopping, 4-wheeling, traveling and reading, but most of all she treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Angie Hansen of Spokane; son Tracy (Sue) Poffenroth of Texas; brother Danny (Jody) Thiemens; nephew Dillon of Spokane and her dog Stetson. Jeannie was a best friend to many and will be greatly missed. Memorial Service 11:00AM Friday September 3, 2010 at Heritage Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
