Marilu (Kirklin) Sartain of Spokane, Washington received her angel wings on May 15, 2024.
She retired from Nabisco after 30 years in sales, then donated her time at Logan elementary and the APPLE program at Franklin elementary schools to spend time with her grandchildren.
Marilu was a giver, a server and encourager, who truly enjoyed camping, staycations, gardening and picking up her grandchildren from school for playdates.
Marilu is survived by her two children, son René Sartain and daughter Monique Sartain, daughter-in-law Buneé Sartain and son-n-law Steven Lay. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Ashley, Logan, Chase, Gunnär, and JayDon.
A graveside service and celebration of Marilu’s life will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on June 21st at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow at Heritage Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marilu (Kirklin) Sartain’s life. We would love to hear from you if you have experiences to share.
