Michael Vernon Cannon Obituary (Age 43) Michael Cannon passed away in Spokane, WA October 2, 2018. He was born August 6, 1975 in Salem, OR to David and Janet Cannon. Michael enjoyed a number of personal interests. He was deeply involved in youth soccer as a mentor and coach for many children. He enjoyed fishing, camping, attending concerts, cooking and grilling with family and lighting fireworks on the Fourth of July. Michael was also something of a prankster with an infectious smile and enjoyed the occasional practical joke of which his family were often victims. He was a big fan of the Chicago Bears, much to the annoyance of many Seahawks fans. His greatest love was his time spent with family. Michael was a dedicated father, a loving husband, son and brother. He is survived by his wife, Angie; mother, Janet; son, Alex; daughter, Gabby; sister, Susan; brothers, Bud, James and Rick; along with parents-in-law, Richard and Roma Berg and Russ and Debbie Page; brothers-in-law, Brian and Kevin Berg; sister-in-law, Pam Cannon; nieces, Megan Zientek and Cassie Berg; nephews, Cody and Keaton Berg and Sam Cannon; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and pup, Angus. He was preceded in death by his father, David Cannon. Michael had very close friends within his fellow employees at EWU, much like extended family.
