Mildred "Millie" Bellet Obituary Mildred Millie Bellet was born to her parents Lucille Elias and Manuel Frescas on November 27, 1943 in Salinas, California. From an early age, she was raised by her Mother and Stepfather, Ceasar Freitas. Mildred married her first husband, Larry Lane in Oakland, California in 1961. The first and second of their four sons, Greg and Darin, were born in the years following. The family moved to Spokane, WA in 1969 to be closer to her parents-in-law, and bought their first home across from Harmon park in Hillyard. Millies parents soon followed the move north to nearby Morgan Acres. After their move to Spokane, Millie gave birth to her third and fourth sons, Sean and Chad. In 1986, Millie was remarried to her current husband of 31 years, Joseph Bellet. They purchased their current home in Elk, WA and split their time between Elk and Morgan Acres as they cared for Millies ailing stepfather. In recent years, Millie and Joe have shared many happy memories, enjoying together their golden years of retirement in Elk, WA. Throughout her years, Millie worked as a waitress and bartender at the Spokane Country Club, the Bend restaurant, and the Eagles Lodge in Spokane. She was a parishioner at Saint Patricks Catholic church where her children attended elementary school. She volunteered with the Pushy Grandmas for the fight against M.S. and is a member of the Eagles Lodge in Deer Park, WA. She enjoyed camping outdoors, fishing and playing casino slot machines. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bill, her third son Darin, her grandson Jeffery, her first husband Larry and many loved relatives-in-law. She is survived by her husband Joe (66) of Elk WA, brother Mike Frescas (72) of Spokane WA, sons and their spouses Greg (age 54) and Tammy Lane of Lake Stevens WA, Sean Lane (45) and Tom Bingman of Seattle WA and Chad Lane (42) and Wendy Burnett of Spokane WA. She also is survived by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Millie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM to 5:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1:00PM August 5, 2017 at Heritage funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
