Paul R Thompson Obituary Paul Reid Thompson, son, brother, husband, and father passed on September 2, 2021 with family by his side. Paul was born on August 27, 1970 in Lumberton, North Carolina where he spent most of his younger years before moving to Spokane, Washington with his mother Kathy and sister Tina. Paul attended North Central High School in the graduating class of 1989 and later received his Associates of Applied Science in Parts Merchandising and Automotive Technology from Spokane Community College. While Paul was in college, he met his wife Kammy Hubert while she was completing her junior year of high school. In 2000, they tied the knot and shared 31 years together. Paul�s career began in the automotive industry where he managed Napa Auto Parts for 7 years before switching into the custodial supply industry as a sales consultant for AmSan. A few years later, he received his position as a Regional Sales Manager for Nilfisk where he remained for 17 loyal years. He covered multiple states selling commercial cleaning equipment and made countless friends during his travels. Paul�s two main passions were his family and his love of classic cars. Between his daughter Linzee (18), and son Cody (16), he attended several sporting events where he could be heard from miles away cheering on his kids. Outside of sports, he spent the majority of his time in his shop building his classic cars, going to car shows, and making bets on Nascar (which he never won). To cherish his loving memory he leaves behind his wife Kammy Thompson, daughter Linzee Thompson, son Cody Thompson, mother Kathy Wilson, sisters Tina Kelley and Jane Hegwood, and in-laws Bob and Cherlyn Hubert and Tom and Gayle Cassidy, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Paul�s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. There will be a virtual option available for live streaming beginning at 1pm.
