Ramon Roy Kanally Obituary (Age 91) Passed away January 5, 2018 in Spokane. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, step-father, wife of 66 years Charlotte, an infant son and his eldest son Stephen. He leaves his children: son Keith, daughter Cynthia and husband Victor, son Mark, son Timothy and wife Jeri, daughter Linda; daughter-in-law Diane Kanally; half-brothers and sisters residing in Pennsylvania and New York states; 14 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren. At the age of 17 he joined the US Navy and served for 3 years on the destroyer DD410 Hughes during WWII in the Asia-Pacific. On his return home in early 1946 he and his childhood sweetheart Charlotte were married on April 6th. He has been attending the church of Christ for 50+ years and served as a deacon in three different churches through the years including Michigan, California and Spokane. He and his wife and two youngest children moved to Spokane from California in 1973 and he was employed as a diesel mechanic at Cummins Diesel where he retired. When his wife retired they began traveling all over the US, visiting almost every state. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00am at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
