Rita E. Whitmer Obituary Whitmer, Rita E. (Fuller) Age 82 Passed away on December 23, 2018 in Hospice House South, Spokane, WA. Rita was born in Spokane on August 28, 1936 to Melva and Everett Fuller of Medical Lake: after high school, she married Bill Whitmer and went to work at Eastern State Hospital where she became a ward charge in just a few years. In 1961, she and Bill worked for General Dynamics/Astronautics (Atlas Missile Program) in Atlas, OK. In 1962, they went to work for Boeing. They then moved back to Medical Lake and went into the fuel distributorship business, �Bill�s Fill�s�, they retired in 1990. Rita is survived by her sister, Lynda, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018, at 10:00 am at Spokane Memorial Gardens, Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Vanessa Behan Crisis Center.
