Ronald Joe Boutain

April 28, 1965 - October 18, 2022

Ronald Joe Boutain Obituary Ron Boutain passed away peacefully on October 18, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family after a long hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. He was taken from his family too soon, and will be dearly missed. He was born on April 28, 1965 in Metaline Falls, WA to Curtis and Anita Boutain. His family moved to Almira, WA where he grew up on a farm with his 6 siblings. He had a wonderful childhood playing sports with his siblings, dirt biking, and hunting. He graduated from Almira High School in 1984 and went on to attend Spokane Community College earning a degree in Automotive Technology. After working in the automotive industry for 26 years, he accepted a position as a mechanic at Mead Transportation where he worked for the past 7 years. He married his high school sweetheart, Jeannie Morrow on March 21, 1987. They had four beautiful children together. He loved spending time with his family. On the weekends, he would take Cameron, Chris, Nate, and sometimes Kya dirt biking at 7-Mile or skiing at Mt. Spokane. Many happy memories were made camping at Farragut State Park every summer. He loved to play frisbee golf and hike with his family there. The competition was fierce on the frisbee golf course, with a few mishaps along the way and lots of laughter. Trips to the ocean were another favorite vacation spot. He loved splashing in the waves with his children, maybe even trying to catch a crab or two. He enjoyed working on automobiles and motorcycles, basically anything with an engine. Most of the time, you would find him in his shop tinkering with some type of vehicle or dirt bike with his children by his side. Kya loved to be his little assistant, always getting his tools for him and holding the flashlight. When he wasnt working, he liked to watch NFL and college basketball games. He looked forward to Friday nights watching Nate play football. He loved to help people, friends, neighbors, strangers, it didnt matter. If someone needed help, you could count on him. His family meant everything to him. He was always there when they needed him, or ready to go on some crazy adventure. His family was so blessed to have him in their lives. . He will be remembered by all who knew him as a genuinely nice, caring person with the gift to gab. To his family, he will always be remembered as a loving dad, grandpa, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Even though he is not here with them physically, he will always be with them watching down from Heaven above as their guardian angel. He is survived by his parents, Curtis and Anita Boutain, his wife Jeannie, and their four children, Cameron, Chris, Nate, and Kya, his three grandchildren, Zaiden, Rowan, and Sophia, and all of his siblings, Art, Theresa, Rocky, Ray, Robert, and Randy, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this time of bereavement. They would also like to thank Hospice, Heritage Funeral Home, Timberview Church, and Cancer Care Northwest for the kindness and compassion they have shown to Ron and his family during this time of sadness. Ron will be laid to rest at Fairmount Memorial Park in the spring. Someone who touched the lives of so many will be remembered in wonderful ways To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Ronald, please visit our Tree Store.
