Suzanne Marie Fanto, 70, of Spokane, passed away on January 19th, 2025. Suzanne was born in Missoula, MT on September 18, 1954 to the late William and Sally DeGuire.
Suzanne grew up in Missoula, spending her summers water-skiing and swimming at her family’s cabin on Flathead Lake.
She met her husband and love of her life, Robert Fanto, and they moved to Spokane in January 1978.
Suzanne was a registered nurse at Sacred Heart in the PICU unit for over 30 years. She was a kind and compassionate nurse, mentor, teacher, coworker, and friend, “bringing up” many other nurses and doctors.
After retiring from Sacred Heart, she found her calling with her two best furry friends, cavalier King Charles spaniels, Shakespeare and MacDuff. Suzanne was a beautiful light in this world and will be dearly missed.
