Thomas (Tom) Elston (age)84 of Spokane, WA. passed away on January 19, 2025. Tom was born on June 28, 1940, in New Ulm, Minnesota to parents Richard (Dick) Elston and Golda (Hayes) Elston. He graduated from High School in Burlingame, CA.
After serving 4 years in the army, he traveled all of the Western states and settled in San Francisco, CA. where he went to work for PSA Skyline. Many years later he moved to Spokane, WA., where he had accepted a position with Pacific Northwest Bell, later called AT&T and currently Nokia. Tom held many management positions and after 26 years retired at age of 48.
He married the love of his life, Linda (Suriano) Elston in 1983. Together they enjoyed fishing, camping, golf, square dancing, road trips and occasionally visiting the casinos.
He is survived by his wife Linda and many nieces in Spokane and Montana.
A Celebration of life will be held in the Spring with interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
