Tommy "Tom" Slentz Obituary SLENTZ, Tommy (Tom) Tom was born on September 15, 1940 to Alice and Alvin Slentz in Colville, WA. His family moved to Spokane when Tom was a child. H attended Bancroft Elementary School, Havermale Junior High and graduated from North Central High School in 1958. He married his first wife Angie in April 1963 and they had two daughters, Karen and Christine. Tom served six years in the united states Army Reserves until 1968. He had numerous jobs during his working career retiring from The Bon Marche. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and biking. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Alice Slentz (Spokane, WA); brothers, William ?Bill? Slentz (Spokane, WA) and Frederick ?Fred? Slentz (Spokane, WA); and common law wife, Anita Nicholas (Spokane, WA). He is survived by his children, Karen Slentz (Spokane, WA) and Christine Slentz; brothers, Richard ?Dick? (Peggy) Slentz (Yuma, AZ), Lawrence ?Larry? (Kathy) Slentz (Carlisle, PA) and Samuel ?Sam? Slentz (Bellevue, WA); sister-in-law, Laura (Bill) Slentz (Spokane, WA) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Tom passed away peacefully on January 1, 2019 at the age of 78.
