Ulysses Wilder

August 03, 1936 - November 26, 2022

Duke Obituary Ulysses was born to Eloise and Will on August 2nd, 1936 in Ocilla, GA. He moved to NYC at about age 4 and lived with his father and grandmother. He graduated High school there; after which he joined the United States Air Force. During his career in the Air Force, he was stationed in Texas, New Jersey, South Korea, New Mexico, Great Britain, Washington State, Vietnam, Germany and back to Washington State. After his Honorable Discharge from the USAF, Ulysses was employed by The State of Washington at the Employment Office in Spokane. He retired from the State of Washington after 20 years. Ulysses met and married his wife Susan in El Paso, Texas in 1957. They have two daughters. Phyllis R. Denbeigh and Martha L. Hodges. They have four grandchildren: Nicholas Denbeigh, Benjamin L. Hodges, Samual J. Hodges and Natasha R. Hodges. Duke enjoyed Bowling, golf and playing poker. Duke and Susan attended Church throughout their years together. Duke enjoyed being an usher, greeting the people, handing out the bulletins and to be helpful in any way he could.
